This hot off the press from CBS News (who else?)
Seems that 10 college football teams are getting complete fashion makeovers with Nike Pro Combat Uniforms.
The lucky(?) schools are Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Boise State, Miami, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, TCU, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
Why the (?)? Well, have you seen these uniforms?
TCU is now wearing lizard skin designs. I don't know whether I'm going to be watching a football game or a production of Cats.
Maybe that's what we should do...send all these football teams to Broadway. Certainly can't be any worse than Green Day songs.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see just how the fans take to these new designs. Personally, I think Nike has dropped the ball on this one. But I guess when you get to be as big as THEY are, you can get away with anything.
This should prove to be an interesting football season if not for the on field play, for the visual appeal.
Either that or we'll all go snow blind in the process.
